Weeknight meals just got a whole lot easier thanks to Zatarain's Spanish Rice. Prepared in under thirty minutes, this rice mix makes a delicious side dish to complement grilled or roasted beef, chicken or pork. Prefer an easy meal? Combine cooked rice with chicken or vegetables and serve to hungry family and friends. More than 1,500 years ago, North African immigrants brought rice to Spain, where the crop thrived. It wasn't long before Spanish cooks were simmering rice with onions, bell pepper, garlic and tomatoes to create what is known in the U.S. today as Spanish rice. *Except those naturally occurring glutamates - Spanish Rice mix with long grain rice in a mild, savory tomato sauce - No MSG added*, no artificial flavors, no colors from artificial sources - On the table and ready to serve in less than 30 minutes - Add protein or vegetables for an easy meal the whole family will love - PREP TIP: Microwave rice or make on the stove top
