Stronger-tasting than other Mexican cheeses, H-E-B queso menonita is made with whole milk from cows not treated with rBST (artificial growth hormone).* Loved for being an easy melter, menonita is also called “Queso Chihuahua” after where it first originated in Northern Mexico. Pick up a square block of menonita cheese the next time you’re making queso fundido or a big platter of quesadillas. • Queso menonita • Mexican-style fresh cheese • 100% natural • Made with rBST-free* whole milk • Firm texture • Stronger flavor than other Mexican cheeses • Easy melter *No significant difference has been shown between milk from cows treated or not treated with rBST (artificial growth hormone).
